The Company must have strong incumbent management. We are looking for an experienced and capable management team with operational and technical knowledge to grow the company and a track record of success.
The prospect of a sustainable competitive advantage through a proprietary technology or business model innovation.
Ability to expand business operations without a proportional cost increase through technology, process innovation and margin growth.
A largely de-risked product technology or business model with market validation and initial customer revenue targeting Technical Readiness Level 9+.
Global addressable market of >$500M with a well-defined go-to-market strategy to capture market share.
Reasonable plans to achieve a minimum EBITDA of $2M in 12-36 months and positive cash flow in 3 years or less. For a SaaS business, an ARR of $10M within 5 years.
Leading business practices, including robust and transparent governance and ownership structure and solid financial controls.
Western Canada-based head office with a board and management team based mainly in the region.
